Prime Minister Caught in Flip Flops
But, am I the only one who thinks that, in Mr. Harper's case, it's more like Teva sandals with socks?

Helios, you tease.
It's hard to be down on genocide when the sun is so gloriously illuminating your corn silk-hued bedroom.
I mean, I'm not for genocide no matter the weather... I'm just saying that it's hard to feel inspired to rage against genocidal tyrants in a take-home exam on int'l human rights when all you want to do is throw on a scarf and some shades and meander about Mount Royal Park.
Argh.
April's almost over, right? My human rights to fresh air and sunshine will soon be restored?

Too Much Foreign Influence on Foreign Affairs?
Forget policy. Forget internationl instruments, treaties, or negotiations. The real foreign influence on our Department of Foreign Affairs is linguistic. And when I mean foreign, I really mean American.
Peter MacKay, our newly minted Minister of Foreign Affairs, refers to destructive weapons - the sort that destroyed, you know, Hiroshima and Nagasaki - employing the same term as George W.
"NUKULAR".
I'm sorry, what did you just say on CTV's Question Period?
There is concern about the "nukular" weapons program in Iran?
Mr. MacKay is speaking American, I guess, since there is no such word in the English language.
That's real impressive, Peter. You have my full confidence. Yeah. Especially since you don't even know how to pronounce the word used to signify the weapons you purport to be so concerned about.

Missing: One Blog Mojo
Not that I've been much of a blogger for some time now, but in the past month I've completely lost my blog mojo. Don't know where it is. Don't know if I'll ever again find it. Has the novelty worn off? Has the fad passed? Is blogging no longer de rigueur?
In other news, exam season is again upon us, and I've got miles to go before I sleep... and miles to go before I sleep...

I was up early this morning which is unusual for me, even more unusual for me on a Saturday. I've already been for a walk, watched the legions of dog walkers marching their more groomed companions to the run on Dr. Penfield. The air is heavy with moisture, little driplets are squeezing their ways out of clouds that are not quite gray, not quite black. But clearly heavy.
